Film based artist, Naomi McKenzie has created a body of work that explores the chaotic yet striking collisions of light and dark in a journey of rediscovery. She exposes with sensitivity her internal struggle of being a mother and an artist as both identities tussle to take centre stage. These images compliment and conflict but ultimately converge to create still moments of calm and unity.

Naomi McKenzie’s works are created using only traditional silver halide film processes and are hand developed by the artist.
